Vina Luis Felipe Edwards er Chiles største 100% familieejede vinhus med 1850 hektar vinmarker, og eksport til over 100 lande. 100% syrah fra Leyda Valley, der nyder godt at de kølige vinde fra Stillehavet samt den gode jordbund. Vinen lagrer 12-15 måneder på fransk fade. Duften er præget modne blommer, oliventapenade samt ristede noter. Smagen er levende og saftfuld med en lang afslutning og behagelig modne tanniner. "A syrah that’s “raw,” almost as if the grape juice went straight from the vine to the bottle, although that's not the case. In fact, it was aged for a year in oaks of different formats, although that time has not diminished the intensity and clarity of the fruit. This is an intense, juicy wine full of black fruit flavors and slightly salty touches that give it personality. And those notes of black olives that are typical of the syrah from cool coastal climates such as the one this comes from in Leyda, in San Antonio."
